Martian New Year

The team went up to Mars to join in the Martian New Year Festival! While we were there, we saw Team 2625, Quasics, and Team 4150, FRobotics. This festival consisted of STEAM-oriented family friendly activities used to celebrate the new year in Mars as well as our fascination with outer space. Several food trucks, industry professionals, local businesses, as well as NASA and the United States Air Force attended the event! During the event, Team Horsepower 4991 demonstrated our robot, Ankle Biter, and spread the message of FIRST to the people. Additionally, several FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge teams were in attendance. We enjoyed seeing Boston Dynamics’ Spot robot, meeting several industry engineers, and other space-themed activities!
