Sponsor Brunch

On Sunday, February 9th, Horsepower hosted a Sponsor Brunch for our Sponsors, community members, and Government Representatives. In attendance were Grace Nelson, from Senator Bob Casey’s office, Ondrea Burton, from Representative Conor Lamb’s office, Dr. Misty Slavic, the Chartiers Valley’s Assistant Superintendent, Mikaela Ducksten, Chartiers Valley’s Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships, Julie Murphy, A Chartiers Valley Board of Directors member.

The attendess enjoyed a wonderful brunch catered by our head mentor Jeff Radzanowski. They got the chance to talk with team members and ask lots of questions about our time on the Horsepower robotics team. Members were eager to share stories about building, programming, outreach and fun memories they shared from being on the team. Students gave a presentation about the build process and what it takes to run a FIRST Team. Team members gave our guests an exclusive first look at out Infinite Recharge robot. Attendees even got the opportunity to operate our FIRST Power Up robot, Flash.
